Diapherodes gigantea eggs x100

Diapherodes gigantea is an outstanding Phasmatodea species which is largely reared by amateur insect lovers. It is a very large stick insect, native to the island of Grenada in the Caribbean sea. Rearing is easy. It exhibits the sexual dimorphism of many similar insects, males are small and thinner with large wings. The species has the Phasmid Study Group number PSG260.

We keep our brood in a 1:1 ratio of males and females to ensure all the eggs have been fertilized and came from sexual reproduction. Eggs need to be incubated in a warm and humid environment, ensuring the correct airflow to avoid mold development.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE:

These eggs are shipped from Italy. We strongly recommend courier for large orders. Although we can ship eggs worldwide, we do not assume any responsibility for orders sent outside the EU.
