We offer Callosamia promethea eggs, F1 generation from Quebec (Canada). The Promethea silkmoth is a beautiful medium size Saturniidae from north America. Adults show a marked sexual dimorphism and pair during the day. The female has a nocturnal behavior and lays eggs during the night in groups of 4 to 10 eggs.

Callosamia promethea caterpillars are amazing and change shape and color across molts. It can reveal a tricky species to rear in captivity, fresh food and ventilation are required.
