We offer pupae of the large and stunning African emperor moth, adults will emerge in 2-5 weeks from now. Pairing them can be obtained in medium size (40x60cm) cages. 

There are few reports regarding Bunaea alcinoe rearing in Europe, we know that pairing is possible and  and caterpillars have been reared on easily available plants as Ligustum or Hedera. Definitely a large and impressive moth. 

Bunaea alcinoe is an underground pupator. Thus, pupae need to be kept on a humid substrate, being careful of avoiding excess of water that can cause mold to grow. High temperatures will help in synchronizing emergence.
