The first list list of dried butterflies and moths of 2023 is online! The list consists in the full catalogue of papered unmounted Lepidoptera which are now for sale and readily available to dispatch.

The Lepidoptera catalogue is published as a pdf document in our news section where you can easily download it. Please find it below in this article. As the turnover of dried butterflies is very high. Unfortunately, is not possible to include one by one these insect specimens in the shop as normal items.

Below you find the most updated list of current dried butterflies and moths available for sale at Time To Breed. These consist mostly in Nymphalidae, Papilionidae, Saturniidae and Sphingidae. This list has been updated on 3 January 2023.

Contact us via email for more information and pictures of the desired specimens whether you require them, all coded specimens do have pictures with oopen and closed wings. All the dried Lepidoptera shown below have been carefully dried and papered. They will be shipped in a safe box, with several layers of protection, to ensure their integrity.

Dried butterflies and moths – highlights of 2023

The current list of dried butterflies and moths list includes a set of 1500+ unmounted Lepidoptera from more than 20 locations worldwide. The vaste majority of these specimens are captive reared at the Time To Breed facility (ex-pupa), unless specified they are intended to be farmed and not wild collected. As a major novelty, we are now offering naturally dead specimens, which have been reared by us and could complete their life here at the Time To Breed insect facility. Please find them in catalogue labelled as “n.d.” in the quality column

Several special items have been highlighted: aberrations and rare forms from our collection that are for sale. Don’t miss the opportunity to get one of these unique specimens. We are accepting offers for a new wonderful specimens which is for sale for the first time, a never seen Argema mittrei male aberration, with an incredible and symmetrical eyespot pattern (cover image).

A set of Morpho (helenor) peleides and Morpho helenor carillensis is still available. Beautiful and large size animals reared at our facility. We offer all qualities including mint A1 specimens, A1- which are still very good ones and A2 for a cheap price. Ideal species for framers and butterfly artists. You will hardly see such high quality Morpho butterflies in the market

In addition, the death’s head hawkmoth is back! We have for sale more than 150 dried specimens of Acherontia atropos, an iconic moth, evergreen bestseller.
