Actias dubernardi eggs for sale

Actias dubernardi eggs, the Chinese moon moth.

Available for sale eggs of this stunning Saturniidae species, one of the most particular moths in the genus Actias. Animals are not as large as other species within this genus, but display amazing colors and extremely long and elegant tails. Actias dubernardi shows a striking sexual dimorphism, where the female is pale green and male is colored of yellow and pink!

This species pairs in captivity with few issues, we recommend to house them in large cages to maximize the chances of pairing. Caterpillars do feed on Pinus sp. and other host plants can be tried. Chinese moon moth caterpillars require a slightly humid environment and may suffer high temperature (e.g. more than 26C).
