Rhombodera stalli nymphs, the giant shield mantis (L3-L4)

Rhombodera stalli is a large size mantis from the tropical forests of Southeast Asia.

These mantis are in L3-L4 stage of growth.

Rhombodera stalli is a carnivorous insectivore, mainly catching other insects. Its diet in nature consists of small insects like crickets, flies, fruit flies, beetles, and smaller stinging insects such as bees or miniature wasps. Usually, a suggestion is to feed them with preys that are half of it’s size or smaller.
