Alliara petiolata: The garlic mustard, is a biennal flowering plant in the Brassicaceae family. All parts of the plant, including the roots, give off a strong odour like garlic. This plant is the natural host for the orange tip butterfly, Anthocharis cardamines, and the green veined white, Pieris napi. Its flowers attracts both these butterflies.

It is esy to grow, best in partial shade, and create a nice patch over the years.
